What is Counselling?
Counselling provides a confidential, reflective space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It supports you in gaining insight, understanding patterns, and processing challenges in a safe and structured way. Counselling can help with anxiety, low mood, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and personal development.
It focuses on understanding your lived experience and developing greater self-awareness.
What is CBT Psychotherapy
CBT (Cognitive Behavioural psychotherapy) is a structured, evidence-based approach that explores the connection between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. It helps identify unhelpful thinking patterns and supports the development of practical strategies to create meaningful change.
CBT psychotherapy is particularly effective for anxiety, low mood, stress, and emotional regulation difficulties.
-
Couples sessions provide a supportive space to explore communication patterns, relationship challenges, and emotional needs. The aim is to help partners better understand one another and develop healthier ways of relating

Life coaching is focused on forward movement, clarity, and intentional growth.
While psychotherapy addresses emotional distress and mental health concerns, life coaching is designed for individuals who feel generally well but are seeking structured support to move forward in specific areas of life.
Coaching may be appropriate if you are looking for:
• Greater clarity around personal or professional goals
• Confidence development and mindset strengthening
• Support navigating life or career transitions
• Improved communication or decision-making
• Accountability for behavioural changeMy coaching approach is structured and practical, integrating evidence-based CBT principles and NLP techniques to support sustainable change.
Life coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy and is not suitable for the treatment of clinical mental health conditions. If therapeutic support is more appropriate, this can be discussed during an initial consultation.
